Hotels & Places to Stay Near the Lake Ozark Casino Site
The proposed casino site and the Osage Visitors Center both sit at the Bagnell Dam end of Lake Ozark, so that’s where we’ve centered this list — with Osage Beach options (including everything near Oasis at Lakeport) close behind. Distances are approximate driving distances to the casino site at Bagnell Dam Blvd & Osage Beach Pkwy.

Lake Ozark — closest to the casino site and the Strip
The Resort at Lake of the Ozarks

Area: Lake Ozark · Distance to casino site: ~2 mi
A 155-room lakefront property on Bagnell Dam Boulevard, about as close to the casino site as an overnight stay gets. Rooms range from queen doubles to lake-view king suites, and you can reach the Strip in a few minutes without touching the main highway.
Camden on the Lake Resort

Area: Lake Ozark (Horseshoe Bend) · Distance to casino site: ~4 mi
The Lake’s best-known boutique-style resort, with suites over the water, an on-site spa, and a busy dock-bar scene next door. A frequent pick for people who want walkable nightlife without staying on the Strip itself.
The Lodge of Four Seasons

Area: Lake Ozark (Horseshoe Bend) · Distance to casino site: ~7 mi
A classic full-service lake resort: golf (The Cove and The Ridge courses), a marina, a spa, and multiple restaurants on a quiet stretch of Horseshoe Bend. The traditional choice for golf-and-boat weekends and larger groups.
Country Club Hotel & Spa

Area: Lake Ozark · Distance to casino site: ~3 mi
An older, value-oriented hotel with an indoor pool and spa services, popular with families and reunion groups. Not fancy, but the location between the Strip and Horseshoe Bend is hard to argue with at the price.
Alhonna Resort & Marina

Area: Lake Ozark · Distance to casino site: ~4 mi
A family-run lakeside resort with its own marina, boat rentals, and a mix of motel rooms and condo-style units. The kind of old-school Lake property people return to every summer.
Bass and Baskets Bed & Breakfast

Area: Lake Ozark · Distance to casino site: ~3 mi
A small lakefront B&B for travelers who’d rather skip the resort crowds — a handful of rooms, big breakfasts, and a dock on a quiet cove within a short drive of the Strip.
Osage Beach — near Oasis at Lakeport and the outlet mall
Margaritaville Lake Resort

Area: Osage Beach · Distance to casino site: ~8 mi
The Lake’s largest resort (the former Tan-Tar-A), rebranded under the Margaritaville flag: hundreds of rooms, an indoor waterpark, golf, marinas, and enough restaurants that you never have to leave. The default big-resort pick on the Osage Beach side.
Inn at Grand Glaize

Area: Osage Beach · Distance to casino site: ~6 mi
A long-running mid-priced hotel above the Grand Glaize arm of the lake, near the Highway 54 bridge — close to Osage Beach restaurants and a reasonable drive to both the Strip and the future Oasis site.
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Osage Beach

Area: Osage Beach · Distance to casino site: ~7 mi
Predictable chain comfort near the Osage Beach Premium Outlets: free breakfast, indoor pool, easy highway access. A practical base if your trip is more shopping-and-Oasis than lakefront.
Days Inn by Wyndham Osage Beach

Area: Osage Beach · Distance to casino site: ~6 mi
One of the cheapest reliable beds at the Lake. No frills, but you’re minutes from Osage Beach dining and about ten from the Strip — a fine crash pad if the days are for the water.
Worth the drive
Old Kinderhook Resort

Area: Camdenton · Distance to casino site: ~18 mi
A golf-first resort on the west side of the Lake with a Tom Weiskopf-designed course, lodge rooms and cottages, and an ice rink in winter. Farther from the casino site, but arguably the Lake’s most polished stay.
Lodge at Port Arrowhead

Area: Lake Ozark · Distance to casino site: ~4 mi
A conference-style lakeside hotel with pools, lake views, and meeting space, on the Horseshoe Bend side. Rates often undercut the flashier resorts nearby.
