City of Lake Ozark signs partnership agreement with the Osage Nation

The City of Lake Ozark formally approved and signed its partnership agreement with the Osage Nation in June, locking in the framework under which the city would receive 2.5% of the proposed casino’s net earnings — projected by city officials at more than $2 million a year once a casino operates.

The agreement doesn’t approve the casino itself. That decision — placing the 27.6-acre site at Bagnell Dam Blvd & Osage Beach Pkwy into federal trust — still rests with the U.S. Department of the Interior. See where things stand on our Casino Tracker.
